Reproductive Health Security Grant

The Illinois Department of Public Health is offering the Reproductive Health Security Grant (RHSG-25-2) to support organizations providing reproductive health services, including abortion, in Illinois. The application process requires a detailed scope of work, work plan, project budget, and documentation such as a W-9 and risk assessment. Applications must be submitted through the Illinois Department of Public Health's Electronic Grants Administration and Management System (EGrAMS). Applicants are encouraged to utilize the system’s guidance tools to ensure compliance with formatting and submission requirements. A mandatory technical assistance session will be held on December 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM CST to address applicant questions and provide clarity on grant requirements. Grant applications will be evaluated based on criteria such as identified security needs, project feasibility, and alignment with program goals. Scoring will consider the applicant's capacity to implement the project, SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely) objectives, and a justifiable budget. Selected applicants will receive a Notice of State Award by December 27, 2024, with additional administrative requirements, including quarterly progress reports, to follow during the performance period.
