cARTwheels Program Grants provide high-quality arts performances and residency experiences for K-12 students and schools in North Carolina. This year, the program focuses on building students’ resiliency through the arts. Grants support in-school performances and arts experiences that enhance problem-solving skills and promote healing, reflection, and self-empowerment. Applications open on January 5, 2024, and are due by March 1, 2024. Eligible applicants are K-12 schools and school districts, as well as nonprofit arts organizations in partnership with their county’s school district. Applicants to cARTwheels cannot apply for the Arts in Education Artist Residency Grant.
