The $1,000 Community Grants continue the tradition of supporting local initiatives within specific counties, mirroring the structure and intent of previous years' community grants. Eligible applicants, including nonprofits, schools, cities, and churches located in Barber, Comanche, Kingman, Kiowa, Pratt, Rice, or Stafford Counties, can seek funding. Each grant is dedicated to impacting a single county among the seven served, ensuring focused and direct community benefits. Applicants are required to propose budgets that meet or exceed $1,000 and must detail plans to fund any expenses beyond the grant's provision. This grant could be five per county.
