Clackamas County Business Development Grant Program

The Clackamas County Business Development Grant Program is a county-level initiative designed to support local traded-sector businesses by fostering innovation, creating jobs, and strengthening the regional economy. Administered by Clackamas County, this grant opportunity provides financial assistance to businesses for capital investment and workforce development initiatives that will support long-term business growth. A total of up to $650,000 is available through this funding round. Individual awards may reach up to $100,000, and all awards require a 100% match (or more) from the applicant. Matching contributions can include capital investment or other resources. The application window for this funding cycle opens on September 4, 2025, and closes on October 13, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. An informational webinar for interested applicants will be held on September 16, 2025, at 3:30 p.m., with advance registration required. All applications must be submitted electronically. To qualify for funding, businesses must meet several eligibility requirements. Applicants must operate a traded-sector business and have been in operation for at least two years. In addition, businesses must currently operate in, or plan to establish operations within, Clackamas County. All applicants must be registered and in good standing with the Oregon Secretary of State and must demonstrate that they have secured the necessary matching funds to meet the grant requirements. The grant selection process follows county procurement procedures. Submissions are evaluated by a scoring committee that reviews applications based on the stated scope of work, business impact, and alignment with program goals.
