City of Peoria Arts and Culture Grant

The City of Peoria, Arizona is now accepting applications for its 2025–2026 Arts and Culture Grant Program, which supports nonprofit arts organizations, Peoria-based creative sector businesses, community events, and homeowners associations (HOAs) that present arts and cultural programming within city limits. The program aims to inspire, support, and enhance artistic and cultural experiences for the Peoria community. Funding is provided by the City of Peoria through its Arts and Culture Department. The program features three main grant categories with updated criteria. The Arts Projects category now allows applicants to submit up to two separate proposals, each eligible for up to $7,500 in funding. The Peoria-based Arts Organizations category offers awards up to $10,000 and emphasizes cross-sector collaboration to reach overlapping audiences and goals. The Emerging Entrepreneurs in the Creative Sector category awards up to $5,000 for initiatives in film and media, music and entertainment, or culinary arts. Community events and HOAs are also eligible under this cycle, but their proposals must now be submitted within the regular grant window rather than on a rolling basis. All grant-supported activities, performances, and programs must take place within the City of Peoria. First-time applicants are required to attend a training session, which will be held in-person and online on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Peoria Community Services Building, located at 9875 N. 85th Avenue in the Point of View Conference Room. Returning applicants are also encouraged to attend for guidance and clarification on updated requirements. Additionally, one-on-one meetings to answer applicant questions will be available between February 24 and March 14, on a limited basis. The grant application period opened on February 10, 2025, and closes on March 31, 2025. All applicants must apply through the City of Peoria's official Submittable portal. Awarded funds must be used between September 1, 2025, and May 30, 2026. Applications will be evaluated by a review panel consisting of Arts Commission members, local residents, and arts professionals.
