Grant Description

Established in 2009 by Robert and Angela Workman in memory of their son Alex, the Alex Workman Memorial Fund supports Rush County families with children who have autism, as well as educators working with such children. Grants can be used for special services, summer camps, therapy equipment not covered by insurance, or educational supplies and training for teachers. Nonprofits may also be eligible under certain conditions if the funds are used for a charitable purpose. The application process is online and opens one month prior to the deadline of September 1 each year.
