Small Business Digital Growth and Innovation Grant Program

The Rural Small Business Digital Growth and Innovation Grant Program for Washington County, Virginia provides up to $5,000 in digital support to 3–4 local small businesses. Administered by Locus Community Solutions, the grant aims to improve digital capabilities such as website development, e-commerce, marketing, cybersecurity, and business operations tools. Eligible businesses must be located within 15–30 miles of the Virginia Creeper Trail in Washington County and must be registered with the Virginia State Corporation Commission. Selected applicants must partner with technical service providers to implement improvements, engage in regular progress assessments, and provide interim and final reports measuring impact, including increases in customer base and revenue. Applications are reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis beginning April 8, 2025, and will remain open until December 2025 or until the limited funds are fully distributed.
