Women’s Fund Grant

The Women’s Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation has announced the opening of its 2025 grant cycle. This grant program is dedicated to supporting women and girls in Winnebago County by funding initiatives that align with their needs and interests. The Women’s Fund aims to empower women through philanthropy while increasing awareness of issues affecting them in the community. Grants awarded through this program range from a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $20,000. Although applying organizations may be based outside Winnebago County, the funded projects must directly impact women and girls within the county. The fund prioritizes projects that align with its core focus areas, which include safety from abuse and crime, economic self-sufficiency, health and well-being, and education. These categories encompass efforts such as violence prevention, recovery programs, financial literacy, reproductive health, and awareness initiatives for women and girls. Applications for the 2025 grant cycle will be accepted through March 28, 2025, with final funding decisions to be made in early spring 2025. Organizations are encouraged to apply online through the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation’s website. Grant funding cannot be used for debt reduction, retirement, or political and lobbying activities. Since its inception, the Women’s Fund has supported over 200 organizations, providing nearly $3 million in grants to causes that benefit women, men, children, and families.
