Grant Description

The Pride Foundation Scholarship Program provides financial support to LGBTQ+ students who demonstrate leadership in their personal lives, communities, fields of study, or movements for justice. The program prioritizes students who face systemic barriers to education, financial hardship, and lack access to familial or community support. Scholarships aim to move resources to LGBTQ+ students who need them most, particularly those who are Black, Indigenous, or People of Color; trans, non-binary, or gender diverse individuals; immigrants; disabled people; non-traditional students over 25; rural residents; or individuals experiencing housing instability or poverty. Applicants must reside in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington and meet residency criteria by having lived in one of these states for at least one year during the past five years. Students must also be pursuing post-secondary education during the 2025-2026 academic year, including programs at community colleges, four-year universities, technical/trade schools, or graduate institutions. Some scholarships may have additional criteria related to the applicant's major, background, or location, but all applicants are evaluated based on the program's broader priorities. Scholarships are available to students at all stages of their educational journey and seek to advance justice and well-being within LGBTQ+ communities. For students meeting specific fund criteria, prioritization will align with both the targeted fund requirements and the overarching program goals of supporting students most impacted by systemic discrimination and financial need.
