Women of Worth Grant Program

The Women of Worth (W.O.W.) program, managed by the Blackford County Community Foundation, offers annual grant opportunities to nonprofit organizations that serve women and children within Blackford County, Indiana. This initiative supports projects across a broad range of focus areas including health, education, human services, and community development. The Foundation seeks to empower women and improve outcomes for children by funding initiatives that directly benefit these populations at the local level. Eligibility for W.O.W. grants is limited to nonprofit organizations designated as 501(c)(3) entities, church organizations, or government agencies. A key stipulation of the program is that the same project or program cannot receive funding for two consecutive years. Organizations that received funding for a specific project in the previous cycle must wait until at least 2025 before reapplying for the same initiative. Grant applications for the 2025 cycle open on August 11 and close on September 25. Final award decisions will be announced by the end of November.
