Rigorously Evaluating Primary Prevention Strategies for Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Violence

The CDC's "Rigorously Evaluating Primary Prevention Strategies for Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Violence" grant supports rigorous evaluations of prevention programs, policies, or practices addressing IPV, TDV, and SV. These approaches must have been implemented for at least two years and demonstrate evidence of positive outcomes. The grant emphasizes community- and societal-level strategies, particularly those addressing social determinants of health and inequitable risks faced by vulnerable populations. With total funding of $6,000,000 and a ceiling of $500,000 per award, this four-year initiative aims to expand evidence-based prevention strategies that are practical for communities and scalable across different contexts.
