Community Grant

The Park City Rotary Club offers its 2026 Community Grant to support impactful community programs within Summit County, Utah. This grant initiative reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to advancing peace, health, economic development, and environmental sustainability at the local level. The 2026 Community Grant cycle officially opens on February 4, 2026, and closes on February 22, 2026. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Award notifications will be sent by March 4, 2026, and grant recipients will be honored during a formal Awards Luncheon scheduled for March 24, 2026. The maximum grant award is $5,000 per organization, and funding must be applied to a specific project within the stated areas of focus. Eligibility for the grant is limited to organizations that hold a valid 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS and operate programs within Summit County. Organizations applying for the first time must upload their IRS determination letter with their application. Projects submitted for funding should align with at least one of Rotary’s seven Areas of Focus: promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water and sanitation, saving mothers and children, supporting education, growing local economies, or protecting the environment. The application process is straightforward. Applicants must complete the provided application form, addressing the project’s scope, intended outcomes, and alignment with Rotary’s mission. No separate pre-application or letter of intent is required. Applicants are encouraged to submit proposals that are clear, impactful, and closely tied to community benefit. Evaluation of proposals will be based on project alignment with Rotary Areas of Focus, feasibility, anticipated community impact, and organizational readiness. While no formal scoring rubric is disclosed, the club seeks to fund projects that demonstrate both need and capacity for meaningful implementation.
