The 2025 Peabody Community Foundation (PCF) Grant Cycle offers approximately $9,000 to support charitable projects and programs that benefit the Peabody, Kansas community. Funds are sourced from two endowments: the PCF Endowment Fund ($7,000) and the PCF Kansas Health Foundation Fund ($2,000). The latter specifically supports initiatives addressing local health issues, encouraging healthy lifestyles, behaviors, and environments.
Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations, entities exempt under statute (e.g., educational institutions, churches, cities, or counties), or formally affiliated with such organizations. Management must be ethical, reliable, and experienced. All proposals must serve or enhance the Peabody community.
Applications open on December 4, 2024, and must be submitted online by 5:00 PM on January 3, 2025. Funded projects or programs may not begin until grants are awarded in February 2025 and must be completed by November 15, 2025, unless an extension is approved. Applicants funded in the prior year must complete a follow-up report to be eligible.
Proposals are subject to the review processes and rules of both the Peabody Community Foundation and the Central Kansas Community Foundation. The PCF Grant Review Committee may request additional information during the review process.
