The second pathway invites applicants to submit their own project ideas by the application deadline of March 30, 2026. Funding for these original project submissions is distributed after a review period, with notifications of selection delivered by May 11, 2026. If selected, recipients will need to complete certain onboarding steps within 30 days before launching their project. Applicants seeking grants above $5,000 must be registered U.S. charities and must provide an EIN number. The fund does not support routine organizational operating costs or general overhead; rather, it prioritizes direct project-related expenses that align with the fund’s core thematic areas. Participation in a virtual information session is encouraged, with an upcoming session scheduled for March 6th at 11 a.m. EST.
