Grant Description

Arts in Education Artist Residency Grants support standards-based, long-term artist residencies (5 days or longer) that offer students in-depth arts knowledge and skills. Artists and educators collaborate to create residencies tailored to the specific needs of the school or organization, engaging students in hands-on, participatory arts learning. Applications open on January 5, 2024, and are due by March 1, 2024. Grants range from $5,000 to $15,000 and cover artist fees, contractual fees, travel, and other project-related expenses. Applicants from Tier 2 and Tier 3 counties must provide a cash match for one-third of project expenses, while Tier 1 counties have the matching requirement waived.
