Grant Description

The Energy I-Corps (EIC) program, led by the DOE’s Office of Technology Transitions (OTT), seeks to train researchers from DOE National Laboratories, plants, and sites on commercialization skills and evaluate the market potential of their technologies. The call is divided into three topics: Pipeline Development (Topic 1), Training Cohort (Topic 2), and Post EIC (Topic 3). Each topic focuses on different stages of commercialization from increasing lab participation, participating in Cohort 20 (Spring 2025), to next steps after the training. DOE will allocate funding to labs and sites for projects that facilitate the commercialization of DOE-funded technologies.
