Grants to Strengthen and Uplift LGBTQ+ Communities

The process begins with the submission of a Letter of Intent (LOI), open from January 12 through March 31. Only selected organizations from the LOI stage are invited to submit a full proposal. Recommendations are then made to the Board of Directors, with funding decisions finalized by the end of August. Notifications are sent out shortly thereafter, and funds are distributed in two installments: 50% in August/September and the remaining 50% in March/April of the following year. This structured disbursement supports sustained project delivery throughout the funding year, which runs from October 1 to September 30. Award amounts for each grant cycle can reach up to $15,000, providing vital support for small and mid-sized community organizations. While there is no formal cost-sharing or matching requirement, applicants must align with the foundation’s priorities and demonstrate a strong capacity to deliver services or programs that contribute meaningfully to LGBTQ+ well-being.
