Novel Mechanism Research on Neuropsychiatric Symptoms (NPS) in Alzheimer's Dementia (R21 Clinical Trial Optional)

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), through the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the National Institute on Aging (NIA), seeks applications for the R21 program "Novel Mechanism Research on Neuropsychiatric Symptoms (NPS) in Alzheimer's Dementia." NIA has additional priorities, such as the role of the gut-brain axis, multi-omics approaches, and addressing sex and racial disparities in NPS mechanisms. Eligible applicants include higher education institutions, nonprofits, for-profit organizations, and foreign institutions.
