2025 Impact100 Traverse City Grant
This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations in five Michigan counties to support innovative projects that significantly enhance community services in areas such as arts, education, environment, family, and health.
Impact100 Traverse City is a collective philanthropic organization that provides transformational grants to nonprofit organizations serving five counties in Michigan: Grand Traverse, Antrim, Leelanau, Benzie, and Kalkaska. The group unites women to collectively fund high-impact initiatives that address community needs in specific focus areas including arts and culture, education, environment and recreation, family, and health and wellness. The objective of the Impact100 Traverse City grant is to support innovative, deepening, or expanding initiatives that are transformational in nature and significantly improve organizational capacity and service impact. Innovation can involve the creation of a new program, capital project, or a novel approach to delivering services. Deepening refers to expanding the scope or frequency of existing services for the current population, while expansion targets delivering services to a new population. The funding must be fully expended within 24 months of the award date unless a change in the timeline is formally communicated. Each applicant must designate their initiative under one of the five specific focus areas. The organization must have a viable plan for sustainability to ensure long-term impact beyond the grant period. Acceptable uses of funds include the implementation of the designated project as detailed in the application. However, funds may not be used for grants to individuals, endowments, bridge funding, partisan activities, or improvements to properties not permanently accessible to the organization. Projects solely benefiting a religious institution are also ineligible. Eligibility is restricted to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charities or organizations applying with a fiscal sponsor that meets that criteria. Applicants must be based in or significantly serve one or more of the five counties listed. Additionally, they must be free from any current or pending legal conflicts. Applications for the 2025 grant cycle are open and must be submitted via Submittable by Friday, May 23, 2025, at 5:59 p.m. EST. Applicants are encouraged to view the NonProfit Grant Submission Training packet and recording, and refer to the example financial summary and budget form available through the provided links.
