Eligible applicants are tax-exempt California nonprofit organizations providing or planning to provide CDBG-eligible services to Palm Desert residents during the fiscal year, from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. The application period runs from October 1, 2024, to November 15, 2024, with submissions only accepted through the online portal. Applications will be reviewed by the City’s Outside Agency/Charitable Contributions Committee in December 2024, followed by City Council approval on January 23, 2025. Funding is provided on a reimbursement basis, requiring detailed receipts upon project completion.
