2025 Impact Grants
This grant provides funding for innovative projects that benefit individuals with cystic fibrosis and their families, empowering the CF community to create impactful initiatives.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) is currently accepting applications for its 2025 Impact Grants, an initiative designed to fund innovative programs and projects developed by the CF community. These grants are intended to support ideas that meaningfully benefit people with cystic fibrosis (CF) and their families. The deadline to submit an application is April 3, 2025. This competitive grant process empowers individuals within the community to shape and lead initiatives based on their lived experiences with CF. The Impact Grant program supports original projects or existing programs that engage the CF community and create measurable impacts. While the content of a project does not need to focus directly on CF, it must contribute to the Foundation’s mission and demonstrate an understanding of the necessary resources and processes for implementation. The program encourages applications that create inclusive opportunities for people with CF and their families, particularly at a national level or for underserved groups. Applicants must follow the program’s policies and guidelines and agree to the Community Grant Terms and Conditions. Projects must not include professional or medical advice, clinical or basic research, lobbying, fundraising, or be used solely to purchase equipment. The program also excludes participation from CF Foundation chapters or accredited care centers, and does not fund international initiatives, direct financial assistance to participants, or programs distributing medical treatment or equipment. Applications are reviewed by a diverse panel of adults living with CF who understand the needs of the community and are responsible for making funding recommendations to the Foundation. This peer-led review process ensures that funded projects are aligned with the priorities and realities of the CF population. Prospective applicants who are unsure about the eligibility of their ideas or need help developing their proposals are encouraged to reach out to the Foundation for guidance. Contact can be made through the dedicated Impact Grant email, and general inquiries can also be directed to the CF Foundation’s toll-free number. The Foundation is committed to working with applicants to help shape impactful, feasible programs that serve the broader CF community. Additional resources, including program policies, submission tips, and application documents, are available on the Foundation’s website. For specific questions or support with application development, applicants may contact the Foundation via email at impact@cff.org or by calling 1-800-FIGHT-CF during business hours.
