Hartford Foundation’s Small Agency Grant Program in Connecticut offers two types of grants for small or all-volunteer organizations. The project grant provides up to $7,500 over one year for finite projects supporting direct programs or capacity building needs. The general operating support grant offers up to $10,000 over two years for organizations with a strategic, annual, or business plan that clearly articulates goals, objectives, targets, and responsibilities. Priority is given to organizations and programs aligned with the Foundation’s focus on dismantling structural racism and achieving equity in social and economic mobility in Greater Hartford’s Black and Latinx communities.
