Grant Description

The H100 Latina Giving Circle at the Texas Women’s Foundation is dedicated to promoting philanthropy within the Hispanic/Latina community across the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. The fund specifically aims to support organizations that address critical issues affecting Hispanic women and girls. By empowering nonprofits that uplift these communities, the Circle seeks to enact strategic, sustainable change through leadership, intentionality, and integrity. The grant prioritizes organizations demonstrating a strong understanding of social and economic challenges faced by Hispanic women and girls. Successful applicants will showcase clear visions, influential partnerships, and leadership that fosters community trust. Additionally, the fund values inclusive organizations that respect diversity, uphold accountability, and use data to guide decision-making. Funding is limited to organizations that serve a majority of Hispanic women and girls and demonstrate strong representation of Hispanics across their board, leadership, and staff. Only 501(c)(3) nonprofits in good standing or those with a 501(c)(3) fiduciary sponsor are eligible. However, organizations that received funding from the H100 Latina Giving Circle consecutively from 2022 through 2024 are ineligible for 2025. Ineligible proposals include those from individuals, political or religious activities, governmental agencies, non-profit capital campaigns, and projects that begin before funding is awarded or function as pass-throughs to other agencies. Applications must be submitted via the online grant portal, with all required and correctly labeled attachments, by 12:00 p.m. CST on May 21, 2025. Unsolicited items like CDs, brochures, or letters of support should not be included. Questions regarding the process should be directed to grants@txwf.org. The application became available on April 14, 2025, and applicants will be notified of the outcome by September 9–10, 2025, with potential site visits scheduled between July 21 and August 1, 2025. The H100 Latina Giving Circle will consider proposals from nonprofits based in Dallas, Collin, Denton, and Tarrant counties in North Texas. Funded proposals must align with either Human Safety & Security or Learning and Development target areas. These include services like healthcare, food security, bilingual education, and job readiness programs. Grant amounts are capped at $10,000 per organization. Evaluation criteria include the potential for economic empowerment, data-driven impact, cultural awareness, and sustained community commitment. Programs should demonstrate an ability to improve the economic circumstances of Hispanic women and girls and reflect cultural competency through bilingual content and inclusive services.
