Mid Atlantic Tours Program 2025-2026
This program provides financial support to nonprofit organizations and local governments in the Mid-Atlantic region to host live performances and community engagement activities featuring artists, with a focus on accessibility and geographic diversity.
Mid Atlantic Tours, operated by Mid Atlantic Arts, offers a grant program that subsidizes the presentation of curated performing artists across the mid-Atlantic region. The 2025–2026 program supports presenters that engage artists from a roster featuring performers from the mid-Atlantic United States as well as international artists from the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America, in partnership with Ibermúsicas. This program aims to promote diversity in artistic genres, regional representation, and service to underserved communities. Eligible presenters must be based in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Virginia, or West Virginia, and be either a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, a government unit, or a federally recognized tribal government. Presenters must also demonstrate administrative capacity to complete required project components and must be in good standing with Mid Atlantic Arts. Presenters who successfully book an artist from the Mid Atlantic Tours roster by March 27, 2025, can receive a subsidy covering up to 50% of the artist’s fees, with a minimum engagement support of $1,000. Additional project support funding up to $2,000 may also be available for direct project expenses. The project period runs from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. Applications are available only to presenters recommended by Tour Managers after the artist booking has been confirmed. Presenters must submit a letter of agreement with the selected artist's Tour Manager by March 27, 2025, to receive application instructions. Questions can be directed to Program Director Sarah Lewitus at slewitus@midatlanticarts.org.
