Eligibility Criteria: Nonprofit Status: Applicants must be registered 501(c)(3) organizations. Target Audience: Applicants must provide direct services to Avondale youth addressing the issues related to opioids and other drugs, including their availability, use, and the broader impact on the community. Experience: Organizations must demonstrate a successful track record of completing similar projects within the past two years and experience with substance abuse or prevention programs tailored to youth. Capacity: Applicants must show expertise, education, and certifications that demonstrate their ability to deliver quality programming. Additional Revenue: Applicants must demonstrate the ability to generate revenue from other sources to support their work. Grant Disbursement and Reporting: Grants will be distributed in two disbursements: 50% of the total amount within the first quarter and the remaining 50% after a mid-year review. Continued funding is contingent upon demonstrating satisfactory progress toward the program's stated goals and objectives during mid-year reporting. If progress is not demonstrated, the second disbursement will be forfeited. Quarterly reports and an end-of-year report are required to track progress and outcomes.
