Grant Description

Award Details: Epson provides funding for noteworthy programs that benefit large and culturally diverse populations in specific geographic regions. Priority consideration is given to organizations in Los Angeles and Orange counties in California, Marion County in Indiana, and Toronto, Ontario in Canada. Epson offers products such as inkjet printers, scanners, projectors, and more as donations. Eligibility: Organizations must be well-established, well-managed, financially sound, and qualify for 501(c)3 tax-exempt status (or T3010 in Canada). Priority is given to arts organizations, educational institutions, libraries, museums, social welfare organizations, and similar facilities that aim to improve society through relevant programming. Epson does not contribute to political, labor or social organizations/programs; government agencies; foreign-based institutions/organizations; or individuals/organizations without tax-exempt status. Other Information: The Community Relations Committee manages the Focused Giving Program and meets quarterly to discuss and distribute donations. Organizations can submit only one proposal within a 12-month period. Proposals are evaluated based on charter/misson statement, financial standing, collaborative efforts with other groups, target population demographics, impact on constituency, specific donation request details, shipping address/contact information. Previous recipients must include a statement on how the donation was used and its impact. The Epson Focused Giving Community Relations Program does not have a specific deadline for submissions. Instead, applications are reviewed quarterly, meaning that proposals can be submitted at any time during the year and will be considered during the next quarterly review.
