Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation’s Community Grant
This grant provides funding to Arkansas-based nonprofits, government agencies, and schools for community oral health projects that improve access to dental care for underserved populations.
The Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation (DDARF) is accepting applications for its 2024–2025 Community Grants program, which supports community-based oral health projects across Arkansas. The Foundation aims to increase access to dental treatment and disease prevention services, with a strong emphasis on underserved, uninsured, and underinsured populations. Grants range from $2,500 to $40,000 per organization and are intended to fund one-year programs. The Foundation prioritizes initiatives that offer treatment, prevention, and services that promote oral health. Projects primarily focused on education should apply through a separate Oral Health Education process. Funding is open to Arkansas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits, government agencies, schools, and charitable dental facilities. Grants are not awarded to individuals. Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed quarterly. Submission deadlines for 2025 include March 21, June 27, and September 26. Each application must include a project plan, budget form, and narrative outlining secured and anticipated funding sources. Projects are evaluated for impact, feasibility, and alignment with DDARF’s mission of transforming oral health through collaboration, innovation, and service. Eligible expenses include administrative costs, dental clinic expenses, capital equipment, and operational program costs. Funding cannot be used for dental staff salaries, individual treatments, fundraising, or general organizational debt. Selected grantees must submit interim and final evaluations, maintain communication with the Foundation, and demonstrate measurable outcomes using both quantitative and qualitative data. To apply, visit the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation website and follow the application link. For more information or questions, contact the Foundation at foundation@deltadentalar.com.
