A total of $170,000 in grant funding has been allocated to support this effort. The funds will be awarded to a single city or county fire department in Arizona. The recipient will be required to establish a service agreement with a drone delivery company and have the program operational on or before June 30, 2025. This grant is made possible through the Anti-Racketeering Revolving Fund, which consists of forfeiture assets collected as part of financial remedies for criminal activity.
Eligible applicants include any Arizona city or county fire department. Only one award will be granted, and all proposals must not exceed the maximum funding cap of $170,000. No matching funds are required, and applicants must ensure their proposals align with the stated objectives of deploying drone-assisted emergency medical response services.
Applications open on March 13, 2025, and must be submitted by April 25, 2025. The grant is not issued on a rolling basis, meaning all applications must be submitted within the designated timeframe for consideration.
