The Bowling Green Community Foundation (BGCF) is a public charitable organization based in Bowling Green, Ohio. It was created by community members to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families in the city. Projects funded in this cycle should be scheduled to begin on January 1, 2026, and be completed by December 31, 2026. Applications are accepted through a digital-only process from mid-August until October 10, 2025. Grants will be awarded in January 2026. The foundation does not accept applications from individuals, except through designated scholarship programs, and does not support general operating expenses, capital campaigns, travel, or sectarian religious activities.
To be eligible, applicants must be recognized 501(c)(3) organizations or projects with a qualified fiscal sponsor. Required documentation includes IRS tax exemption proof, a list of board members or key volunteers, and a signed application form by the organization’s leadership. New and creative projects that demonstrate potential for community impact and collaboration are prioritized. Matching funds, program sustainability, and innovation are key review criteria.
