The Loudoun Chamber Foundation was established in 2014 as a component fund of the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties. Its mission is to support the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce’s goal of fostering a world-class quality of life in Loudoun County, Virginia. This is achieved by funding nonprofit organizations that align with the Chamber's strategic priorities and have a measurable impact on the local community.
For the 2025 cycle, the Foundation’s grantmaking focuses on four primary areas: economic development and entrepreneurship, education and workforce development, public safety, and building a healthy community. The top priority is given to initiatives that foster economic opportunity, followed by projects enhancing education and workforce preparation. Also prioritized are programs supporting emergency first responders, particularly those who have experienced injury or loss in the line of duty, and efforts that promote the health and well-being of Loudoun residents.
Grants are awarded for general operating support to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charities serving Loudoun County. Organizations that received a grant in 2024 are ineligible for the 2025 cycle. Additionally, grants will not be awarded to political or religious causes, individuals, or organizations without valid charitable status. Applicants must show how they will publicly recognize the Loudoun Chamber Foundation’s support.
Applications must be submitted through the Community Foundation’s online portal and will be accepted from October 1, 2025, through October 31, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. The Loudoun Chamber Foundation Grant Committee will evaluate submissions and make funding recommendations for final approval by the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Grants typically range between $2,000 and $5,000. Awards are expected to be announced by January 2026, with applicants notified of their status by December 22, 2025. A pre-application workshop was held on October 8 and is available for viewing online to help applicants prepare successful proposals.
Strong alignment with Loudoun Chamber’s priority areas and public recognition of the grant improves competitiveness.
