2025 Highland County Youth Philanthropy Council Grant
This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations for projects that support seniors, youth, animal welfare, and community initiatives in Highland County.
The Youth Philanthropy Council of Highland County invites nonprofit organizations to apply for funding to support projects and services that benefit the Highland County community. The focus is on providing direct services for the senior population (ages 65 and above), youth population (ages 0–18), and initiatives related to animal welfare. The Council also seeks to fund cross-generational programs and events that emphasize Highland County’s cultural heritage, improve food access and distribution, promote interactive youth arts activities, and support the revitalization of small businesses on Main Street. Proposals should clearly address one or more of the identified community needs. While an organization does not need to be physically located in Highland County, its funded activities must serve Highland County residents. Priority will be given to organizations based in Highland or those planning to expand services into the county. The application deadline is Sunday, April 20, 2025, by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Grant announcements will be made in June 2025, and funds will be distributed in late June 2025. Grants must be used to directly benefit the Highland County community, and the Council encourages applications that foster strong local impacts across generational lines.
