Bean Foundation Grant

The Bean Foundation awards grants in various fields including arts and humanities, education, environment, health, human services, and public benefit, focusing on nonprofit organizations that serve Manchester and Amherst. Applications are evaluated based on the significance of the problem or opportunity addressed, the planned approach, and the leadership quality. Priority is given to projects that extend services to underprovided groups, are sustainable, promote cooperation, improve financial and managerial capacity, prepare service agencies for future challenges, and serve as replicable models or innovative approaches.
