Texas Pride Community Foundation Community Grants 2025

Texas Pride Community Foundation, formerly known as Texas Pride Impact Funds, is now accepting applications for its 2025 Community Grants Program. The Foundation is a statewide LGBTQ+ philanthropic organization focused on strengthening the social, health, and economic well-being of LGBTQ+ communities across Texas. As part of its 10th-anniversary celebration and rebranding, the Foundation has implemented a new grants portal system aimed at improving accessibility, transparency, and operational efficiency. All applicants, including those who have previously applied, are required to create a new applicant profile to use the updated portal. The 2025 Community Grants Program is part of Texas Pride Community Foundation’s annual grant cycle and supports grassroots LGBTQ+ organizations across the state. The program emphasizes serving rural communities, small towns, and areas led by BIPOC and trans leaders. Funding is provided for general operating support, rather than project-based proposals, allowing organizations flexibility in how they utilize the grant to meet local needs. Applicants are encouraged to align their proposals with the Foundation's designated Focus Communities and Populations. These include people across the full spectrum of sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression—such as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, non-binary, Two-Spirit, and agender individuals. Geographic focus areas include rural and underserved regions, border towns, small cities, and under-resourced urban neighborhoods. The Foundation is also prioritizing organizations serving communities of color, displaced people, LGBTQ+ youth and seniors, people living with disabilities, and those living with or at higher risk of HIV/AIDS. Organizations must be nonprofits or have fiscal sponsorship to apply. Applications from individuals, national organizations or affiliates, entities outside Texas, and government agencies are not eligible. Proposals that do not support inclusivity, transformational change, or racial equity will be excluded. Academic research, capital campaigns, and multiple applications from a single organization within the same year are also not allowed. The 2025 grants portal opened on May 23, 2025. Two information sessions were held on May 28 and May 29, 2025. The application portal closes on July 24, 2025, and grantees will be announced in October 2025. The grant is expected to recur annually. The Foundation emphasizes long-term investment in communities and capacity-building initiatives, especially in marginalized and historically underserved populations.
