Funding for the fellowship includes co-developed organizational grants of up to $60,000 for community-based organizations that fellows are connected with. Eligibility for the fellowship is open to individuals, including leaders from various sectors who are dedicated to Environmental Justice. Applicants must have access to a computer or laptop and reliable internet connection. They are required to submit a completed application that includes information about their host organization and three short responses in written, video, or audio format. Additionally, applicants must be able to travel for two in-person convenings scheduled for March and August 2025, with travel expenses covered by the fellowship. The application process requires participants to commit to a twelve-month program that includes bi-monthly learning sessions from March 2025 to February 2026, as well as ongoing coaching and professional development sessions during the second year of the fellowship. This structure is designed to ensure that fellows are fully engaged and able to maximize the benefits of the program.
