The Northwest Minnesota Women’s Fund is currently accepting grant proposals for programs and services that benefit women and girls in Northwest Minnesota, including the Red Lake Nation, White Earth Nation, and 12 counties: Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau. Key Details: Application Deadline: November 1, 2024. Priority Areas: Developing entrepreneurial and economic opportunities for women. Supporting programs that create a safer environment for women and girls. Building networks of women in leadership positions. Encouraging and equipping women and girls to reach their full potential. Eligible Activities: Grant funds can be used for: Speakers Educational materials Program delivery expenses Research projects Professional development Note: Grant funds are not available for higher education scholarships. Selection Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated based on: Alignment with the Women’s Fund mission and goals. Evidence of grassroots support involving women. Clear goals, action steps, and long-term impact potential. Collaboration with partners and other funding sources.
