EmpowHer Grants
This grant provides financial support and resources to female entrepreneurs in the U.S. who are running socially impactful businesses and need assistance to grow and sustain their ventures.
Boundless Futures Foundation offers the EmpowHer Grant to support female entrepreneurs who are addressing critical social issues through their business models. The foundation was established to provide financial and leadership resources to women entrepreneurs whose businesses solve problems related to poverty, sustainability, and community building. With a firm belief in the potential of women-led businesses to effect societal change, the foundation seeks to remove barriers and offer meaningful capital support. The EmpowHer Grant is available to female entrepreneurs aged 22 and older who are U.S. citizens with registered for-profit businesses operating solely within the United States. Eligible businesses must be generating revenue and not be more than three years old. The business must demonstrate a social impact either through its products or its business model. Applicants are required to self-report their credit score and consent to a third-party background check to be considered. Applicants may request up to $25,000, which is awarded on a reimbursement basis. Grantees must provide proof of business-related expenses, such as receipts, before funds are disbursed. The funding must be used strictly for business support purposes, and each application must include a comprehensive business plan and detailed budget. Beyond funding, grantees gain access to a network of advisors in finance, marketing, leadership, and other key areas to support their entrepreneurial journey. Applications are reviewed quarterly, and funding decisions are made at the end of each quarter. Application periods align with the calendar year’s quarters: January–March (Q1), April–June (Q2), July–September (Q3), and October–December (Q4). The Q3 2025 application period ends on August 1, 2025, at 9:00 PM. Applicants who miss the deadline are encouraged to apply in the next quarter. Boundless Futures Foundation maintains a strict Code of Conduct. Applicants must affirm that their business practices do not involve discrimination, harassment, or promotion of divisive ideologies. The foundation does not fund organizations involved in lobbying, religious doctrine promotion, illegal activities, or those reliant on contested legislation. Applications are submitted online via Submittable. Users must create a Submittable account or use existing Google or Facebook credentials to apply. Applicants can save drafts and are encouraged to regularly check their emails for follow-up communication, which typically occurs within 12–16 weeks. Submittable technical support is available for applicants, but Boundless Futures Foundation should not be contacted for tech-related issues.
