Grant Description

The Jewish Life Grant, offered by the Rose Community Foundation, supports organizations and programs reflective of Greater Denver’s Jewish communities. This grant aims to strengthen Jewish communal organizations, develop programs that engage diverse Jewish individuals, and advance social justice initiatives rooted in Jewish values. Projects should address demonstrated community needs, fill gaps in the local Jewish ecosystem, and align with one or more of the Foundation's priority outcomes, such as organizational sustainability, inclusion, engagement, and social justice. Eligible applicants include Jewish organizations, schools, and other tax-exempt entities operating in the seven-county Denver region (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson). Unincorporated groups may apply with a fiscal sponsor. Funding is available for general operating or program-specific support, with grants lasting 12 months. Multi-year grants are rare and typically reserved for existing grantees advancing significant, long-term outcomes. Grant requests should not exceed 15% of the organization's annual operating budget. Applications are due by February 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. MDT. The grant cycle runs from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, with final reports due May 31, 2026. Applicants must submit responses to detailed narrative questions and financial information through the Foundation's online grants portal. Priority is given to projects with measurable impact, diverse engagement, and alignment with the Foundation’s values.
