City of Sacramento Cultural Arts Awards 2025-2027

The Cultural Arts Awards (CAA), funded by the Sacramento City Council and the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors, provide general operating support to nonprofit arts and cultural organizations that enhance Sacramento County's cultural vibrancy. The application deadline for the 2025-2027 funding cycle is December 15, 2024, at 11:59 PM PST. Eligible organizations must demonstrate diversity, equity, artistic or cultural contribution, community impact, sound management, and financial accountability. An upcoming Work Sample Preparation Webinar will be held on November 18, 2024, from 1-2 PM PST to guide applicants on submitting effective work samples. Additionally, professional mentors will provide grant writing assistance by appointment from November 18 to December 7, 2024. Mentors include Angie Eng, Patrick Burns, and Suzette Riddle, each offering expertise in arts programming, advocacy, and organizational development. Applicants can submit questions about the program to oaccaagrant@cityofsacramento.org by November 30, 2024, for inclusion in a FAQ resource to be published on December 1, 2024.
