The Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools offers the Community Partnership Grants to support collaborations between the foundation and local community-based organizations that aim to enhance student achievement and engagement within Eden Prairie Public Schools. The Foundation emphasizes alignment with its mission to “support and enhance the legacy of excellence in Eden Prairie Public Schools,” and seeks proposals that demonstrate measurable educational impact, visibility, and potential for replication.
Grant proposals must demonstrate a strong connection to a specific learning goal, curriculum, or school program. Priority is given to projects that have a significant positive effect on student academic achievement and engagement, particularly those that also promote racial equity. Applications should show either broad reach across the student body or a deep, lasting impact on a smaller student group. Projects that inspire, are easily observed or assessed, and are consistent with both the Foundation’s mission and the district's strategic objectives are especially encouraged.
Eligible applicants must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and must be able to provide supporting documentation. Grants typically range from $1,000 to $5,000 and may not exceed $5,000 for a single organization. Funds awarded must be used by June 30, 2026, and may be used for expenses that directly support the approved project, including materials and shipping.
The deadline to submit applications is 5:00 PM on Friday, October 31, 2025. Notifications of awards will be made by December 31, 2025. Applications must be submitted electronically to the Foundation’s designated email address, and should include a grant title, a concise project description, a list of items to be purchased, and documentation of nonprofit status.
Evaluation of proposals will focus on alignment with district goals, expected student impact, clarity of implementation, and long-term sustainability or replicability. The Foundation may conduct follow-up visits, request photographs, and interview staff and students to document the outcomes of funded projects.
For questions regarding the grant or submission process, applicants may contact llindner@foundationforepschools.org. Final applications should be submitted to Lsisinni@foundationforepschools.org.
Focus on visibility, replicability, and alignment with the district's learning goals and the foundation's mission.
