Baby Quest Foundation Fertility Grant
This grant provides financial assistance to individuals and couples in the U.S. seeking help with costly fertility treatments, regardless of their background or relationship status.
The Baby Quest Foundation offers fertility grants to help individuals and couples in the United States afford expensive fertility treatments. Founded to address the financial challenges that many face when seeking fertility procedures, the organization operates nationwide and emphasizes inclusivity, supporting diverse applicants regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, or marital status. Since its inception, the foundation has awarded more than $3.6 million across 250+ grants, helping create over 200 babies through assisted reproductive technology. The purpose of the Baby Quest grant is to financially assist those undergoing procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), gestational surrogacy, egg and sperm donation, egg freezing, embryo donation, and IVF with preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) for hereditary disease prevention. Baby Quest does not reimburse for procedures already started and prioritizes applicants prepared to begin treatment within three months of receiving a grant. An additional offering—the Perelel IVF Grant—provides a $15,000 IVF treatment grant and is processed through the same application system as the regular Baby Quest grants. Grants are awarded twice per year through an online application system. For the current cycle, the application window opens June 1, 2025, and closes at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET on September 4, 2025. Applications must be initiated by August 29, 2025, to allow adequate time to complete the 18 required components, including a medical evaluation form completed by the applicant’s fertility specialist. A $75 non-refundable application fee is required. Applicants must also submit a personal story (maximum 1000 words), a media release form, and copies of their insurance cards. Eligibility requirements include permanent residency in the United States, treatment at a US-based accredited fertility clinic, good physical and mental health, adequate living arrangements, means for child support (at least one partner employed), and basic health insurance covering prenatal care. Baby Quest does not typically fund applicants with extensive fertility insurance coverage or those already receiving financial assistance from other charities (with exceptions for fertility clinic discounts and bank loans). Prior applicants may apply a total of two times, with all new documentation required for each submission. Applications are evaluated by a panel that includes women’s health advocates, financial advisors, and reproductive specialists. Selection announcements are made via phone and email approximately 4–6 weeks after the cycle closes. Those not selected are informed via email. Grant recipients should be open to sharing their fertility stories in print and video media. Background checks costing approximately $250 may be required for selected applicants. By participating in the Perelel IVF Grant, applicants consent to have their names, images, and content used in Perelel’s marketing materials. Applications not selected are destroyed one month after the deadline, reinforcing the importance of complete resubmissions for future cycles. More information, including FAQs, is available on the foundation’s website.
