Provide the opportunity for District of Columbia resident curators to bring existing art exhibitions previously mounted and organized in other cities to D.C. Provide unique exhibitions and related programs for District residents. Funding Information Individuals and non-profit organizations (new in FY25) may request up to $30,000, or $35,000 if working with a co-curator or curatorial mentee. The grant period is from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. Eligibility Criteria Individuals must (at the time of application): Be an artist, curator, or arts-related professional over the age of 18, with prior curatorial experience; OR be an artist or curator representing a non-profit organization. Maintain residency in the District of Columbia throughout the grant period; and, Be in good standing with CAH. Applicants with incomplete or delinquent reports from any prior funding program, as of October 15, 2024 (or as otherwise determined by CAH), are ineligible to receive additional funds from CAH in FY 2025. District Nonprofit Organizations must: Be incorporated as a nonprofit with a federally designated tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) code, as evidenced by an IRS determination letter that is dated at least one year prior to the application deadline date; Have a principal business office address located in the District of Columbia, subject to onsite visit. (Note: CAH will not allow post office boxes or the addresses of board members or volunteers as evidence of the principal business address); Be registered with, and authorized to do business in, the District as either a “Domestic” entity (that is, an entity that was incorporated in the District) or a “Foreign” entity (that is, an entity that was incorporated in another state); Ensure that atleast fifty-one percent (51%) of the organization’s activities occur within the District of Columbia; Obtain certification of “Citywide Clean Hands” (CCH) from the District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue; Not be colleges, universities, service organizations, foreign governments or other DC Government or Federal Government agencies, including DC Public Schools; For more information, visit CAH.

Be registered as a charity in New Jersey with the Division of Consumer Affairs and have a Charities Registration number. Have a primary arts-focused focused mission. Not have another active Institutional and Financial Stabilization grant from the Cultural Trust. NOTE: If an organization has an active State Arts Council grant or LAP re-grant, the organization is still eligible to apply for a Cultural Trust grant. If an organization has an active Cultural Trust Capital Historic Preservation grant, that organization is also still eligible to apply. Qualifications In order to become qualified, an organization must demonstrate that it: Is a New Jersey-based tax-exempt nonprofit organization (no colleges, universities, or units of government). Fulfills a primary arts, history, or humanities mission in New Jersey through active programs and services. Has been incorporated for a minimum of four years and has been in operation for a minimum of four years. Has a functioning board that provides financial oversight to the standards set by the Cultural Trust. Is current with Charities Registration and Division of Revenue filings. In evaluating applications, NCCF prioritizes projects' potential community benefits, organizational capacity, meaningful collaborations, and ability to leverage additional funds or resources.
