The YPL PIF program should emphasize experiential learning and capacity building in order to equip diverse participants with the tools they need for success. The U.S. Embassy New Zealand Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to develop and implement a Young Pacific Leaders (YPL) Alumni Roadshow. The Alumni Roadshow will bring 15 select Young Pacific Leader alumni from the Pacific to the United States to participate in leadership and professional development activities under the themes of education, environment and resource management, civic engagement, social and economic development, regional security and geopolitics, cultural preservation and traditional knowledge, and health. The Public Affairs Section (PAS) sponsors exchanges for emerging and influential voices in politics, democracy, and governance to foster civic leadership, and cross-party cooperation to advance North Macedonias stability, security, and EU accession. Participants, including youth wings of major political parties, political influencers, local officials, political analysts, think-tank representatives, and others, will develop the capacity to address relevant societal issues. The program features periodic bilateral (two-way) exchanges between the USA and North Macedonia and may include peers from neighboring countries like Bulgaria to promote regional stability. Selection of participants will be coordinated with the U.S. Embassy. Topics include democratic governance, policymaking, electoral and judicial systems, local government, elections, freedom of media, and active citizenship. The program aims to build lasting professional relationships and friendships between emerging leaders in North Macedonia and the U.S. and seeks to incorporate a regional component.

To support womens economic opportunity, the U.S. Embassy in Seouls Public Diplomacy Section will create a leadership and mentorship cohort of at least twenty South Korean women between the ages of 25-39 who represent diverse sectors of the economy and have shown the potential to grow as leaders in their respective fields. Through this program, participants will learn from American and Korean experts, and broaden their professional network. The U.S. Embassy in North Macedonia of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to carry out its U.S. Speaker Program. The Speaker Program brings dynamic U.S. citizen experts to North Macedonia to engage professional and student audiences throughout the country on topics of strategic importance to the United States and North Macedonia. Specifically, the program seeks to engage local audiences on rule of law reforms; judicial independence; government accountability and transparency; professional journalism practices; combating foreign malign influence; cybersecurity; climate and security issues; diversity, equity, and inclusion; encouraging civic action at the local and community level; culture, arts, and advancing womens economic empowerment through the shared knowledge, expertise, and know-how of U.S. experts. It aims to implement a new policy approach that addresses the political drivers of fragility and supports locally driven solutions. The submission of the SOI is the first step in a two-step process. Applicants must first submit a concise one- to three-page statement of interest designed to clearly communicate program idea and objectives. This is not a full proposal. The purpose of the SOI process is to allow applicants to submit program ideas for evaluation prior to the required development of a full proposal application. About the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs By ensuring that women have the skills, capabilities, and resources to fully participate in the economy, AWE directly supports the U.S. National Strategy on Gender, Equity, and Equality. AWE was established in 2019 to provide women with the knowledge, networks and access to launch or scale successful businesses. Cohorts of approximately 30 women meet online and in-person to learn core business skills such as strategic planning, marketing and finance, then discuss the material with local facilitators, business leaders, and U.S. exchange alumni mentors. Through its partnership with Arizona State Universitys Thunderbird School for Global Management and the Freeport-McMoran Foundation, AWE utilizes a no-cost, online learning platform. Used by AWE since 2019, DreamBuilder teaches participants the fundamentals of starting or growing a small business from a U.S. perspective, offering modules on marketing, pricing, and bookkeeping, and includes a built-in business plan generator. It is available only in English and Spanish, though posts may conduct mentoring and facilitation in local languages. This year, implementing partners may also use a new online curriculum, in whole or in part the Najafi 100 Million Learners Global Initiative - alongside or instead of DreamBuilder. 100 Million Learners Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Bootcamp may be most suitable to implementing partners who are looking for a more challenging business curriculum, or who wish to provide complementary modules on key topics in entrepreneurship and innovation. 100 Million Learners is currently offered in 20 languages and will add up to 20 more in the future.
