The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified entities to implement the Kenya Digital Health Ecosystem Activity. Eligibility for this award is restricted to local organizations in Kenya. However, USAID strongly encourages these organizations to collaborate with at least one international entity as a subrecipient and apply as a consortium. See details in section C. USAID intends to make an award to the applicant(s) who best meets the objectives of this funding opportunity based on the merit review criteria described in this NOFO, and subject to a risk assessment. This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the U.S. Department of Energys (DOE) Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office (IEDO). The intent of this RFI is to obtain information to inform a new DOE vision study, Pathways for U.S. Industrial Transformations: Unlocking American Innovation, which is identifying cost-effective and industry-specific strategic pathways to achieve a thriving U.S. industrial sector with net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050. This RFI seeks input on four categories: Category 1: Industrial Decarbonization Challenges, Barriers, and Cross-Cutting Strategies; Category 2: Framework for Industrial Decarbonization Pathways; Category 3: Impacts and Evaluation Criteria for Industrial Decarbonization Pathways; and Category 4: Net-zero Decarbonization Pathways for Specific Industrial Subsectors. This RFI is focused on input on industrial technological, financial, social, environmental, and health aspects as they pertains to the challenges, barriers, opportunities, and pathways to achieve net-zero emissions from the industrial sector by 2050. The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Program is the U.S. Small Business Administrations (SBAs) largest matching grant-funded program providing quality service to the small business community. The SBDC Program has 63 Recipient Organizations - one in each state (with the exception of four regional SBDC networks in Texas and five regional networks in California), the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands. The Recipient Organization is responsible for establishing a Lead Center and a network of partner Service Centers to cover its designated area of service. The SBDC Program links the resources of Federal, state, and local governments with the resources of the educational community and the private sector to provide assistance to the small business community. In partnership with SBAs Office of Small Business Development Centers (OSBDC) and District Offices, SBDCs develop business counseling and training programs, informational tools, and other services that enhance the economic development goals and objectives of SBA, in their respective service areas, and their local funding partners.

Through this Project, USAID/Malawi aims to create new partnerships with Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) in efforts to amplify the Missions work in support of higher education. USAID expects MSIs to lead the development of the Concept Papers response in collaboration and partnership with relevant Malawi university and non-university tertiary institutions, the private sector, and organizations with capacity to technically offer training for a cadre of students described in Section A of the RFA. With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks to support projects designated for funding in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 (Public Law 118-42) to improve the functioning of the criminal justice system, to prevent or combat juvenile delinquency, and to assist victims of crime (other than compensation).

A. Short Description of Funding Opportunity ERDC seeks applications for methods to automate the organization of databases of stream gauge data, perform data visualization, and compute mathematical operations. B. Background The Ecohydrology Team at the ERDC Environmental Laboratory is building the capacity to rapidly evaluate landscapes and water resources in remote locations around the world, with limited data collection and local knowledge. In this context, being able to automate the organization of basic waterway data and perform hydrologic calculations on that network is a fundamental capability. A computer program to support required automation, data analysis and visualization is needed to develop this capability. C. Program Description/Objective: This project will develop methods to automate the organization of databases of stream gauge data (examples include USGS stream gauge data, the European water archive, or Global Data Runoff Center data) and storage/riverine infrastructure data (examples include the USACE national inventory of dams, and the NASA Global Reservoir and Dam database) into node and edge networks based on their geospatial location, relative to a database of waterway data (examples include the USGS National Hydrology Dataset, and the HydroRIVERS database). This computer program will include the ability to perform data visualization and mathematical operations, especially baseflow separation and other hydrologic calculations, on the network, node, and edge data. The R objectives will develop this capability, including: (1) development of a network generation algorithm, (2) generalization of this algorithm over various databases, (3) development of a plug-in for performing simple baseflow separation calculations over the network data, (4) generalized plug-in architecture for adding other hydrologic calculation capabilities, and (5) development of data visualization capabilities. The end product should be stored a web repository, and the methods and tools should be described in at least one peer reviewed publication. D. Public Benefit Accurate and timely waterway data are essential for addressing critical water challenges, such as scarcity and flooding. Current maps often fail to provide comprehensive information on water occurrence and flows, leading to inaccuracies in assessing the quantities and locations of occurrence. This research will address those information gaps by providing detailed time series data on flood and drought conditions, which in turn will enhance mitigation measures.
