Eligible applicants include States and Territories, political subdivisions of States, drug courts, Indian tribes or tribal organizations, health facilities, or programs operated by or in accordance with a contract or award with the Indian Health Service, or other public or private nonprofit entities. Applications are due by April 1, 2024. The anticipated award amount is up to $400,000 per year for up to 5 years.

The National Park Services (NPS) Underrepresented Communities Grant Program (URC) is intended to diversify listings in the National Register of Historic Places to include communities that are currently underrepresented. URC grants are funded by the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF), and are administered by the NPS. Projects include surveys and nominations of historic sites associated with communities underrepresented in the National Register.
