With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks to support state, local, and Tribal juvenile justice residential facilities, and the agencies that oversee them, with the recruitment and retention of staff to assist in complying with the staffing ratio requirements outlined in the national PREA standards. This solicitation prioritizes efforts to create and enhance a sexually safe culture, promoting zero tolerance of sexual abuse in juvenile facilities. This program furthers the DOJs mission to uphold the rule of law, to keep our country safe, and to protect civil rights.

VTCs effectively integrate evidence-based substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, mental health disorder (MHD) treatment, treatment for co-occurring disorders, mandatory drug testing, incentives and sanctions, and transitional services in judicially supervised criminal court settings that have jurisdiction over veterans with treatment needs in order to reduce recidivism, increase access to treatment and recovery support, and prevent overdose.

With this solicitation, BJA, in coordination with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the Office of Victims of Crime (OVC), seeks applications to provide a range of training and technical assistance (TTA) to grantees and the field at large under the Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative (CVIPI). This will build on the portfolio of existing providers and add new expertise in the following areas: trauma-informed practices and workforce development for Community Violence Intervention (CVI) organizations and staff, mass casualty shooting reviews, law enforcement engagement with CVI programs, TTA network support and coordination, and strategic communications.

The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out the Strengthening Nigeria Police Force Lawful Detention Procedures project. This project will promote the Nigeria Police Forces (NPFs) adherence to the legal provisions provided for in Nigerias Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015 and the Nigeria Police Act 2020 as it concerns detention of persons. This will enhance transparency, accountability, due process, and protection of human rights within the police detention system.

This grant provides resources and support to employers, labor organizations, and victim service providers to help them create effective workplace responses for victims of domestic and sexual violence, with a focus on underserved communities and small businesses.

Proposals should highlight engagement with local, state, and national governments to prevent, protect, and/or take actions against TFGBV. Proposals should include engaging with local and national level governments and civil society organizations (CSOs), and meaningfully include TFGBV survivors, to focus on preventive tools. Applicants should include proposed activities, including training, advocacy, outreach, and collaboration with local, state, and national governments and CSOs. Applicants must propose amplifying multi-sectoral engagement and collaborative approaches to address TFGBV. The project should incorporate solutions and methodologies aligned with local social and cultural norms. The project must be carried out in at least two of the following countries: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Bhutan.

With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks applications for funding to support cross-system collaboration to improve responses and outcomes for youth under the age of 18 or youth under the jurisdiction of the juvenile justice system with mental health disorders (MHD) or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (MHSUDs) who come in contact with the juvenile justice system. This program supports public safety efforts through partnerships with youth justice, mental health, and substance use agencies to enhance responses to justice-involved youth with MHD and MHSUDs.

With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks to invite the Council of State Governments for funding to continue to provide training and technical assistance to OJJDPs Second Chance Act Addressing the Needs of Incarcerated Parents and Their Minor Children and Mentoring for Children of Incarcerated grantees.

The "Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Chair and Director Training Curriculum Development and Pilot" grant aims to create a comprehensive 30-hour training program for council chairs and executive directors, using a blend of virtual and in-person instruction, based on the ITIP model and ADDIE principles.

The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing by the nations state, local, territorial, and tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. The COPS Office is pleased to announce that it is seeking applications for funding for the FY24 Community Policing Development Microgrants program. CPD Microgrants funding will provide grants to local, state, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies to implement demonstration or pilot projects that offer creative ideas to advance crime fighting, community engagement, problem solving, or organizational changes in support of community policing.
