Open Granting Community Impact Grants by the Greenwood County Community Foundation are available for a wide range of grant requests that align with the foundation's guidelines. This open category is particularly for programs and projects that do not fit within the other specified categories. The Art and Change Grant (ACG) provides grants of up to $2,500 to fund art for social change projects by women, trans, and/or gender nonconforming artists and cultural producers living in Greater Philadelphia. Leeway supports artists and cultural producers involved in art for social change that positively affects and engages communities and audiences. Creating social change must be integral to the ideas, beliefs, and goals that are woven throughout your art and your process of creating and sharing your art. Impact of Art with Vision Art for social change is art with a vision and an intentional analysis. It is an artistic or creative cultural practice that may operate in traditional or nontraditional mediums, modes, or disciplines. Art with a vision impacts people in many ways. Eligibility Criteria Applicants are only allowed to submit one application per grant cycle. The Art and Change Grant is not for organizations, corporations, or fundraising activities. The Art and Change Grant cannot be used for activities completed prior to when the grant is announced. The Art and Change Grant is not intended to support the creation of residencies, apprenticeships, and/or retreats unless it is clear how it will (1) move the applicant’s own artistic practice forward and (2) engage the community-at-large with a socially engaged project. Art and Change Grants are not intended to fund the same project for which you received a prior Leeway Grant. However, you may apply for different phases of a previous funded project. This program provides funding to New Hampshire municipalities for projects that improve community facilities, create affordable housing, and stimulate economic development, particularly benefiting low and moderate-income residents.

Capital requests will ONLY be accepted at the July deadline for consideration by the board at their September meeting. The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) introduces the Engagement Award: Capacity Building for the April 2024 cycle. This funding opportunity aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of patients and stakeholders to participate actively in all phases of patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER). Projects proposed should aim to last up to two years with a budget up to $300,000, focusing on building capacity for patient-centered CER, involving meaningful engagement of patients, caregivers, clinicians, and other healthcare stakeholders. The initiative supports the development of projects that help non-researcher patients and stakeholders engage as partners in CER, strengthen researchers' abilities to partner effectively with these groups, and support previous awardees to extend the impact of their work in building capacity for patient-centered CER. Engagement in the proposed projects must demonstrate a thorough understanding of patient-centered CER fundamentals, identify a need for increased capacity among patients and stakeholders, and show a connection to future CER opportunities.
