The partner selected will provide aligned, requested and anticipated technical assistance, including purposeful and sustained collaborative opportunities to educational professionals who provide education to all students, with a specific focus on students with low incidence disabilities. The work will include a multi-tiered support framework for technical assistance (MTS-TA) to support skill building for educators and other educational professionals, including coordination and partnership with their local districts, coops and other educational agencies that provide special education services. This includes important disability-specific technical assistance and best practices for early identification and support, in collaboration and alignment with institutions of higher education focusing on development of a competent workforce and addressing staff shortages. Students with low incidence disabilities have been those students which comprise less than 10 percent of all students receiving special education services, or students within those historical categories where the needs for some of those students might require a layer of more intensive supports. The categorical areas in which they anticipate necessary supports are listed under specific program expectations for grant-funded partners. The Accelerated Career Education (ACE) Grant Program provides financial aid to 10th to 12th grade public high school students in Georgia, covering tuition, fees, and books for up to 15 semester hours per term at Technical College System of Georgia institutions, to help them pursue technical certificates or diplomas in high-demand fields.

Facilities may apply for funds for one or multiple eligible purposes and for one or multiple sites (if applicable).The Bridge to Recovery grant is designed to help providers of in-center congregate services provide a safe, healthy, and person-centered environment for older adults and people with disabilities. Providers can spend funds on facilities and staffing improvements to support that goal.Facilities must use funding to meet the goals of the grant program related to infection prevention and control, workforce shortages, and other programmatic improvements. Funding cannot be used to supplant existing funds received from other sources. Funding may be used for a new project or to supplement an existing program.The allowable expenses to meet the goals of the grant are as follows:• Building ventilation: adding or improving ventilation systems to meet recommended Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) standards.• Air flow and filtration: repairing or installing air filters to meet recommended Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) standards.• Modifying usable space: repurposing outdoor areas to expand safe, useable program space or modifying indoor spaces to promote health and safety while encouraging participant engagement.• Sanitation and infection control: increasing sanitation and infection control measures.• Staff recruitment and retention : costs associated with posting jobs and sign on bonuses, retention bonuses.• Temporary workers: salary for temporary workers when there is a vacancy or absence in key required positions, such as nurses, social workers, therapists, or transportation drivers, in order to comply with regulations and staffing ratios.• Wage differentials: providing raises for direct support staff to ensure equity among similar roles and skillsets. Final wages from salary increases should comport with or be comparable to local labor laws, standards, and prevailing wages.• Vehicle modifications and/or preservation: modifying existing vehicles used in the transportation of participants and/or installing surveillance equipment.• Telehealth: improving participant access to telehealth services.• Staff training: providing training in infection prevention and control, health, and safety.• Vehicle Purchare: Solely to be used for transporting participants to/from their residence and to/from the center for in-center services.

IDHS is seeking to fund entities with experience in training, technical assistance, and support to build the RPSA grantee’s program capacities. Successful applicants will work with grantees across multiple RPSA grant programs in Chicago and/or Greater Illinois, based on grantee selection. To address the spike in firearm violence, the Illinois General Assembly passed the Reimagine Public Safety Act (RPSA) (430 ILCS 69) in 2021. The RPSA creates a comprehensive approach to ending Illinois' firearm violence through targeted, integrated behavioral health services and economic opportunities that promote self-sufficiency for victims of firearm violence.

The Illinois Office of Firearm Violence Prevention (OFVP) is seeking applications from those public and private nonprofit community-based organizations subject to 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) of the tax code (26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3) or 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(4)) For-profit, small businesses and individuals are also eligible to apply. DPR's Research Grants Program supports projects that seek to advance integrated pest management (IPM) knowledge in agricultural, urban, or wildland settings. Projects should focus on reducing impacts to public health or the environment from pesticides of high regulatory interest. The program is one-time funding for competitive grants to service providers to develop or scale export training programs and curricula. Respondents to this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) must demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and ability to provide such training. The key purpose of this program is to fund export training programming that supports California small business owners, provides access to export services for underserved businesses, advances immigrant integration and supports immigrant entrepreneurs, and includes training programs in languages other than English wherever possible. Additionally, this program may consider funding export training programs that are aimed at developing an export-capable workforce should there be sufficient program funding.
