Eligible Expenses  Grant funds may be used for any of the following (this list is not comprehensive): Equipment purchases, materials, or services needed to fulfill/engage in the opportunity Rental fees, including equipment, instruments, facility (including short-term space and studio rentals), etc., which support the artistic opportunity Preparation, freight, and/or shipping costs Costs associated with documentation of the opportunity Travel necessary to engage in the opportunity (see Funding Restrictions for more information) Registration fees Professional fees which support the artistic opportunity Grant funds cannot be used for any projects, or days of a project, that take place before the start date of the cycle in which they are submitted, and/or after the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2025). If your full project timeline starts before or ends after the funding period, you are still eligible to apply and should articulate the full timeline in your application, but should only request and use grant funds for project activities taking place within the funding period. Who may apply? Applicants must be individuals and may submit only one application per cycle. Organizations are not eligible to apply. An individual may submit only one application per grant cycle and may receive only one AOG every two (2) fiscal years. The Statewide Health Strategies Grant (SHSG) is designed to enhance the health and well-being of North Dakotans by activating the ND State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP). The DC Department of Transportation, Urban Forestry Division (UFD) seeks applications from local government, non-governmental, and community-based organizations to promote a broad range of urban forestry activities in disadvantaged communities within the District of Columbia. The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (the “Department” or “DCEO”) is issuing this Notice of Funding Opportunity (“NOFO”) to request applications for the Rebuild Downtowns & Main Streets (RDMS) Capital Grant Program and for the Research in Illinois to Spur Economic Recovery (RISE) Implementation Grant Program. Program Priorities Each application is reviewed and independently scored based upon a consistent set of criteria: The extent to which an agency has the ability to fund road projects, based on 2023 real/personal property value proportional to population. Projects on local roads, as they have fewer eligible funding sources. Projects paired with other infrastructure projects, as to encourage efficiency and coordination. Projects done together with another agency’s project, as to encourage lower pricing and general efficiency. Preventative maintenance projects, as to encourage beter asset management practices. NOTE: Points are reduced for agencies that received a grant from the program in the past. Funding Information The maximum grant amount is the lesser of 50% of the eligible and participating costs, up to $250,000. The remainder of the project costs will be provided by the local agency. To receive the entire $250,000, the eligible and participating work would have to equal or exceed $500,000. Eligible Projects Eligible projects include reconstruction, replacement, rehabilitation, or capital preventative maintenance of city or village streets and stormwater improvements needed for the road project. New construction or routine maintenance such as filling potholes, mowing, plowing, etc. are not permited with Category B funding. Eligibility Criteria  Applications must be made by a political subdivision of the Commonwealth, typically Counties and Cities, but also Towns, Industrial and Economic Development Authorities, or Planning District Commissions. Applications may be made on behalf of more than one locality, provided each applicant contributes matching funds and a single political subdivision serves as the lead applicant and grant administrator. Applicants are permitted to have multiple active AFID Infrastructure Program grants but will only be eligible for one grant award per grant round. The Permanent Commission on the Status of Racial, Indigenous, and Tribal Populations (‘the Permanent Commission’ or ‘the Department’) is seeking applications to develop and implement a program or initiative that intentionally addresses at least one (1) SDOH and builds stronger community connections. Public health researchers have put considerable energy into improving SDOH outcomes for racial and ethnic minorities, yet these disparities persist. The goals of this program are to: Deepen the Permanent Commission’s relationships with CBOs and community leaders whose goals and activities align with the Permanent Commission’s statutory mandate; Invest resources directly in the Maine communities most severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic; Support CBOs in creating new and innovative community-led approaches to addressing the SDOH for their communities; and Increase social capital in historically marginalized communities by supporting community building activities within Maine. Funding Information The total grant funding for this program is $300,000. Applicants may apply for a minimum of $25,000 and a maximum of $75,000 in funding to be used over their contract period. The Department anticipates issuing awards for a contract period beginning as early as June 2024 and ending by December 2025. Contracts may not exceed 18 months or extend beyond December 2025. Allowable Uses of funds  Allowable uses of funds may include but are not limited to: Staffing and/or consultant costs associated with the proposed project, including but not limited to: Staff/consultant time related to planning, execution, evaluation, and reporting on the proposed project, Professional development that is directly related to enhancing the project, Community outreach and engagement. External communications (storytelling, marketing/PR, website, social media, radio), Costs to reduce barriers for community member participation in the proposed project, including but not limited to: participation stipends, travel reimbursement, childcare at events, light snacks at events, interpretation services, and other services that address specific barriers preventing community members from participating in events and activities. Material costs associated with the proposed project, such as space rentals, speaker or facilitator costs, and activity costs. Indirect costs not to exceed 10% of the overall proposed project cost. Administrative costs including construction, leasing, and renovation of buildings are eligible expenses Acquisition of land is not. The purchase or rental of vehicles are eligible expenses. Applications will be accepted for projects that include plans to expand, construct, restore or renovate Massachusetts tourism destinations and attractions. Applicants must demonstrate how the tourism capital project will work to promote the tourism goals of the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism and the corresponding Regional Tourism Council. The DDC grant is focused on capital improvements with a direct relationship to tourism, and other physical/structural items with a greater than five-year lifespan. In accordance with the ResilientMass Plan, projects that include elements intended to increase the climate resilience of a tourism destination or attraction will receive consideration in the review process. Funding Information The Destination Development Capital (DDC) Grant Program anticipates awarding up to $6,000,000 in FY25, subject to funding availability. Grant Period Grant awards are anticipated to be announced in June 2024, subject to appropriation. Projects must be completed by June 30, 2025. Eligibility Criteria  A public agency, municipality, or nonprofit organization incorporated in Massachusetts with 501(c)3, 501(c)5, 501(c)6, status from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that does one of the following: Produces, promotes, or presents tourism attractions and activities for the public. Provides public access to physical collections and exhibits. In operation for at least two consecutive years since January 2020. Agency must be in good standing with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and city/town: Must be current on all taxes due through December 31, 2022; and have active and valid state licenses/registrations, if applicable. Applicants must have spent at least $15,000 in a fiscal year on tourism related items. Applicant must indicate how they are addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion within their organization. Applications must be complete, must include all required documentation and be submitted through the online portal, by the deadline, in order to be considered. The Site and Building Development Fund (SBDF) aims to enhance Nebraska's industrial readiness by supporting the development of industrial-ready sites and buildings. The plan, effective from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025, targets projects that address immediate community needs for site and building development, promote job creation and investment, and leverage private dollars. Eligible projects include land and building acquisition, construction or rehabilitation, site preparation, and related infrastructure improvements.
