The Northeast SARE Professional Development Grant program funds projects that develop the knowledge, awareness, skills and attitudes of agricultural and other service providers about sustainable agriculture practices to teach, advise or assist farmers. Grant Name: New Jersey Clean Construction Program Purpose: To reduce emissions of diesel particles and improve air quality by installing pollution control devices on or replacing qualifying non-road construction equipment. The program, consisting of the Off-Road Diesel Retrofit Grant and Off-Road Diesel Replacement Grant, is a collaborative effort between the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA).
