The FreshConnect CSA for SNAP program, managed by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, aims to increase access to fresh, locally grown produce for SNAP participants by partially subsidizing the cost of CSA shares. High Impact Community Outreach (HICO) was proposed by the UUCSF Board of Trustees and approved by the congregation in late 2019.
